[Peace] Peace Vigil Ground Rules - Updated June 2008

THE CHESTER COUNTY PEACE  MOVEMENT
PEACE VIGIL GROUND RULES FOR  PEACEKEEPIING
 
Please do not talk at all with  counterprotestors during our vigils. We have 
agreed to total separation, and  attempts at dialogue violate this agreement.
Please do not call out/yell/stare across the  street.
Please do not make signals/signs of any kind to  counterprotestors.
Please do not block pedestrian or motor traffic or  crosswalks.
Please - no signs about or in response to  counterprotestors.
Please do not talk about counterprotestors within  their hearing.
We begin at 11, end at noon.
 
If you do not follow these rules during a vigil,  volunteers trained in 
peacekeeping will request that you leave the vigil. We are  not holding peace 
vigils for any reason having to do with counterprotestors - we  are there to speak 
up for peace and against war.  Therefore, we expect all  those who attend to 
keep our purpose in mind; and our purpose has nothing to do  with anyone 
opposing us. That's not why we are  there.
